EPIC-UK Ltd. has grown organically over the past 8 years.
EPIC’s Founders Neeraj and Rachael Kumar first met in India in 2007, and soon realized their dream of creating opportunities for young people to travel and see the world from another perspective.
Neeraj and Rachael combined their knowledge and skills to create a successful award winning UK charity 'Basti Ram' (1137644) that today continues to grow from strength to strength by offering learning opportunities to disadvantaged communities in the UK and in India. Their Charity has now supported in excess of 200 volunteers to travel to India and share their skills with extremely impoverished communities.
Time and time again Rachael and Neeraj have seen the intense learning that takes place in participants who join their projects. Participants gain focus, vision, understanding, patience and return with an insatiable motivation to help others less fortunate than them. This experience led to their birth of EPIC.UK.LTD.
EPIC.UK.LTD is a commercial venture, but with a strong conviction to help those less fortunate. A proportion of every customers payment (£25) is donated to Basti Ram to support disadvantaged young people to visit India themselves. EPIC.UK.LTD is not just another tourism company.
